Based on the Huber Approach to Astrology, which was developed around the concepts of Roberto Assagioli’s Pychosynthesis, ASTRO COUNSELLING provides profound insights into the build-up of our character, revealing hidden motivations, talents and areas of difficulty. This broadens our self-awareness giving us new perspectives for our problems and their solution.
With seven different colours, the Horoscope is drawn in the Huber-manner as a Radix, Moon-Node and House Chart and also contains an Age Progression or Life Clock which reveals where we are coming from, where we are now, and where we are going to. This has little to do with outer events, although those are often connected, but reflects our psychological attunement towards the world around us at a certain age and period of time.
The insights we gain from Astrological Psychosynthesis help us to become stronger personalities who can look into the future with excitement and trust rather than anxiety. By truly understanding ourselves we open up life’s path. By gaining a deeper understanding of the different parts of our personality we learn to integrate them. With this holistic approach we finally open up ways to synthesize transpersonal powers into our lives such as intuition, empathic and unconditional love, and the ability to transform ourselves and the world around us.
We should keep in mind that a horoscope is like a map of our character, a floor-plan of our psyche, upon which the house of our life has been built. It doesn’t show the actual house, nor the many choices we have made along the way, such as what building materials to use, or what colour to paint the lounge room. The floor-plan outlines the spaces and the main structural foundations. When we relate the horoscope to a person’s life, his hopes, his experiences, then it becomes a wonderful tool for personal growth. It shows us how each person can build their own unique dwelling, whether it be a spectacular mansion with turrets, or a quiet secluded cottage by the beach.

Natal Chart
The natal chart is the chart that we have been given to work with this lifetime. It shows a pattern of possibilities that we need to recognize and, to the best of our ability, develop in order to fulfil the potential it symbolizes.
House Chart
The house chart represents the environment that we are born into (family, social class, culture) and shows the opportunities, constraints and challenges that this environment provides us with in order to grow and fulfil our potential (natal chart). It reflects the conditioning we receive as children when we absorb everything the environment presents, without awareness or discrimination. As we get older we learn to use our free will to manage the influence of others. Then the house Chart can show us aspects of our personality we can work on, which will help in the process of our development.
Nodal Chart
The nodal chart represents the sum total of past experiences, behaviour patterns and belief systems which we are familiar with. We carry the essence of them within us at the unconscious level.
The Ascendant
In the same way as the ascendant in the natal chart is a link with the nodal chart and the past, so also it is a pointer towards the future. Quoting Bruno Huber:
“The AC is a destination board – spelling our the goal of my inner life. We may be unaware of the goal but we struggle towards it – automatically following the path laid down – like a tourist in a National Park – without awareness.”
“The AC is both a goal and the Way. It shows the qualities we need to develop if the goal is to be reached.”
“As our life develops we tend to develop the qualities of the Rising Sign (sign at the AC) – but it is hard for us to know how to proceed as there are no clues! But the North Node supplies the clues for the next step.”
The Qualities that Bruno refers to are those associated with the esoteric meaning of the ascending sign.
